Most apps that call themselves a private AI companion still import your contacts, build a profile on a public grid, or bury a social layer three taps deep. Privacy here is not a mode you switch on. It is the architecture: there is no contact import, no friends-of-friends, no profile that exists outside your own screen.

The companion remembers names, preferences and habits between sessions — that is the product promise. But the memory lives in your thread and nowhere else. Delete the thread and the memory goes with it. No backup syncs to a server you did not ask for, no analytics dashboard shows your topics to a third party.

For an adult product, this matters more than features. The conversation can go wherever you take it because there is no audience. No one sees it, no algorithm scores it, and your app drawer shows nothing unless you put it there yourself.
